A moment spent alone doing something I enjoyed
Have you ever experience the time when your parents went overseas or are out and you were left alone at home? Well... I had experienced it before. Life was pretty good without them.I had lots of freedom. When friends called to ask me out, I could give them a reply immediately, saying 'YES'. When parents are in, they would usually say 'NO'. I had lots of fun when they are out. Both my parents went on a business trip. I was left all alone at home. I switched on the computer and started playing my computer games. I surf the net, watching my favourite television programmes that I had missed. The show was called 'Point Of Entry'. It was really amazing ad exciting. Soon, my stomach was growling loudly. I was very lazy to go all the way to the coffee shop to buy myself a pack of rice. I caught sight of an advertisement of 'MacDonald s'. I thought of an idea. I dial the McDelivery hot-line and order a set of 'Double McSpicy' for myself. Soon, the delivery man arrived at my doorstep and hand over the food to me. I quickly gobbled down the burger to satisfy my growling stomach. After I had finished eating, I continued playing my computer. One can't play the computer forever right? I proceeded to read my favourite storybook, 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid'. The book was very interesting and I would recommend it to my friends. However, I think that the book might be too easy for a 14 years old boy. This was a moment soent alone, which I had enjoyed very much. Hope you would have one too....

Something unusual that happened that day
It was a usual morning. My Dad fetched my brother and I to school. Dad would always drive on the highway as it would only take about fifteen to twenty minutes to reach my school. He also said that driving on the highway saves fuel. I did my usual routine- watching the morning scenery. The car started swifting to the left, my dad tried to keep the car under control but it continued swerving to the left. The car started to slow down. My dad got off the car, only to find out that the car's tyre was punctured. Oh my!!! It was on the highway. I thought: how unlucky can we be.My brother and I would be late for school. How do we get to school? Especially on highway. No vehicles were allowed to stop on the highway unless your vehicle is broken down. I told my dad that. He said that I have no other choice but to flag a taxi on a highway, if I do not want to be late for school. I strained my neck, hopping to spot a available taxi. There it is. I raised my hand high in the air, hopping that the taxi driver could see me in the dark. The taxi stopped at the shoulder of the road. My brother and I board the Taxi. In the taxi, I took a quick glance at my watched and realised it was already seven o'clock. I told the taxi driver to drive faster or we would be late for school. When I reached school, I ran to the assembly area as fast as I could. By the time I reached there, I was already panting heavily. I looked at my watch, relieved that I do not have to spend my precious recess time doing school services. I wonder how's my dad, whose on the highway, waiting patiently for the breakdown services to arrive. It was truly an unusual day.
A special moment I enjoyed with my family
A special moment that I enjoyed with my family happened last two months. It was my Grandfather's 80th birthday. My Aunt had booked a chalet to celebrate his birthday. At around 8.00am, my Aunt checked in to the chalet. I went along with her to help her out as she was carrying a lot of preparation for the birthday party. We later settled down in the chalet, leaving all our preparation load on the table. We then went to the supermarket to buy snacks and drinks for the barbecue at night. We went to order about 100 to 150 sticks of satay as we serving many relatives at night. Suddenly, it started raining cats and dogs. As we had no umbrella with us, we had to wait for the rain to stop before we could start making our way back. The first thing I did when I was back at the chalet was to switch on the air-conditioner. If you think why is switched on the air-conditioner even after it had rained is because the sun was out even it was raining. The weather was really humid. While waiting for the room to cool down, i went down to help my Aunt to put the drinks in the refrigerator, fill plastic bags with water to make ice blocks. Time really past very fast!! It was already 2pm. Most of the relatives start making their way here. They were told to each come with their home-made food. This would really save a lot of money as catering services is very expensive. I was hoping my cousins could come here earlier to play our favourite family game,"Monopoly Deal". I called up each of them. They said they are on their way. How I wish I could make the clock tick faster. Here they are! We made our way to the room and started on the addicting game. We would always shout and laughed loudly whenever we lose or win. My cousin also taught us how to play 'Old Maid' and 'Indian Poker'. The games were really fun. It was dinner time!!! My eighty years old grandfather finally came. He was still very healthy and could walk without the help of a walking stick. When he came, everyone started eating, babeling at the same time. Happy 80th birthday grandpa!!! My uncle came walking out with a birthday cake. Everyone sang the birthday song in english and chinese. The birthday cake was specially bake by my uncle. He works as a baker for a famous restaurant. His cake was really fantastic!!! That day was a really special moment that I spent with my family, and an unforgettable one!!!

Something that took place in school
After SA2, we Victorians, would always look forward to that event. That is the post-exam activities. One of them would be the inter-class competition where each class would send a team or two to take part in either floorball or street soccer. For me, I took part in floorball. During assembly, the hall was as noisy as a fish market. Everyone was very excited and some were even discussing tactics. After assembly, my class proceeded to our respective venues and in he mean while, getting ourself ready for the match to start. The whistle blew and the timer started ticking. Each class was cheering loudly and teammates were shouting out loud at each other. After some time, we made some substitutions as we are starting to tire out. Whenever we scored a goal, we would cheer very loud that even people on the fourth floor could hear it. Some opponents were strong while some were easily beaten by us. When I was on the field, I tried to dribble pass the opponents, but lose the ball eventually. That was how lousy I was. But my friend, Nurhan, was amazing. His dribbling skills was superb and shooting skills were amazing. Not to forget, Enrico, a good defender. He was always blocking the opponents from getting pass him. Maybe, I was just an extra guy staying on the field. However, luck was not always on our side. The opponents came up with tricks that tricked as and they eventually got pass our defense. We thought we could clinch the top three positions but unfortunately, we were fourth. But I thought to myself that it's not the win that counts but the joy that we had. If we win, I would be better. The soccer team got a third positions. Congratulations to them. At least, our class won something. I am looking forward to this year's post-exam activites :)
